We see them regularly but never as low flying missiles ~ you are having some exceptionally cold weather though. Glad that the year is turning in the right direction now!
The seagulls and jackdaws were fighting over a chimney pot the other day. What a noise they made. However much of a pain both species can be, I felt a bit sorry for the jackdaws as it is their pot! (They won by the way)
Hi,
Lovely photo, I think thanks to this cold spell we’re going to be seeing increasingly strange sights…
We rarely see seagulls here, but when we had our snow I suddenly saw quite a few flying around although never visiting my garden.
I think it’s about time we saw some ‘normal’ weather now.

The blue tone in this is nice, but boy, does it look cold.

They occasionally land on our garage roof if times are hard. Not my idea of garden birds so they look completely out of place.

I love watching gulls and they fly over head every evening – but I wouldn’t want them in the garden.
