Visiting family in another part of Wales to-day, and I have a fascination with the wind farms that are becoming part of our skyline.
To me they seem as if they are standing sentinel over the landscape

Is that near Brigend? They look like the ones I used to see when I was doing my fisheries project.

Used to see these near I-80 in Northern California, decades ago. Wish there would be more of them! Lovely shot.

Windfarms are sprouting up all over my area of the country. If we have anything here on the prairie, it is lots of wind. They are beautiful to watch as you drive down the highway–like a wonderful, graceful ballet…

Hi VP – This one is near the vale of Clwyd. Thanks for leaving a comment.
Greenwalks and Susan, thanks for dropping by – they are quite beautiful to watch, this one was across the valley – but next time I visit that area – we are going by a different route as I want to see them close up – although they always make my hair stand on end 🙂

Have seen them close up near Carlisle. I didn’t realise just how huge they were until then. Love them or hate them, they are amazing.
