Greenman

My Greenman caught my eye to-day.

I think he might be making a welcome return in my art work.

My last Greenman is on my old blogger textile blog.

  3. “Greenman” is one of my absolute favorites, ever. And yours is striking, on the wall and in your artistry.

  4. This Green Man is about the friendliest I have ever seen.

He doesn’t look sinister at all – more like someone in disguise. (Most Green Men, one wouldn’t want to go near!)

I especially like the way, with this one, his beard looks more like sea-weed than leaves – a kind of cross-over connection which I appreciate (as someone who especially likes places where the sea and the countryside meet).

  5. Thanks everyone,
Lucy – that is such a good description – I am also someone who likes the places were sea and countryside meet.

Gail, Nancy and Aerie-el – thanks for the supportive comments about my textile greenman – It is funny how I can forget about old pieces of work – but I would like to do another one.

  6. What a serene fellow Karen. I like his counterpart on your textile blog. Hope that you are enjoying being a mother- in- law 🙂
