Leaves in the Studio

Stitching leaves to-day – and I like the finished effect – shame about the rest of the piece.

    • Thanks Gail – not quite the image I had in my head for the complete piece – but I must remember how I did this bit and work it in to another picture.

its beautiful Karen, I love all the subtle tonal changes of the leaves.

Not sure why you don’t like the whole piece, I think its wonderful.

The flowers remind me of Chaemoneles ‘Geisha Girl’

You are too hard on your work from the studio just like you are too hard on your assessment of the garden. I like the whole piece, even if it no longer resembles a duck billed platypuss!!
