Dragonfly Nymph

This dragonfly nymph caught my eye this morning

Just as I was leaving for work –

I would like to have stayed and watched the dragonfly emerging.

But other gardens beckoned.

(Well, their weeds did!)

  1. Nice pic! I had no idea that’s what they looked like at that stage.

The first time I saw dragofly nymph in my old pond, I thought aliens had landed! Amazing to watch the dragonfly emerge.
A wonderful pond Meredith. I was always told not to use mortor near a pond if you wanted fish as it is toxic. Hope yours are ok.

This must be a still from that movie Alien – you know, the one with Sigourney Weaver.
