Dark Calla Lily

cala

Dobby gave me this beautiful dark calla lily at the weekend

So at the moment, it is travelling around the garden, in its pot –

Until it finds its new home.

And yes, after the lovely day yesterday

The rain returned to-day.

(Sigh)

I didn’t know they came in such a dark color. Pretty!
And, so is the town below.

    • Thanks Sandy, my daughter in law had these as her wedding flowers, mixed with white – they looked stunning, so I am really happy to have them now in my garden.

I enjoy the view of roof tops – it must remind me of Mary Poppins 🙂
      Thanks for dropping in

I have to admit that my very good neighbours bought one and showed it to me. They also bought a canna, a sambuca, a type of cster oii plant, a rhubarb, and a gunnera. (They blame me for buying this house and spending so much time in the garden). They had to go back to the nursery to pick the plants up, so were asked to get another calla. They are gorgeous. I’m sure you will find he right spot for it eventually.

    • Thank you for the calla Dobby – it is fabulous, I think it will go in a pot for the rest of this year, and find its permanent home in the garden next year.
