Salvia ‘Hot Lips’

I bought Salvia ‘Hot Lips’ earlier in the year, and so far I am delighted.

The proof of the pudding will be if it survives our wet winters.

Currently it is residing in a pot, so I might take it into the greenhouse this year.

  1. Well you can’t miss the lips!
I’d keep it in a pot until you can root some cuttings. I find Salvias very erratic in their hardiness.

  2. What a beauty! I can see the lips, so it has a wonderful name for it.

  4. Now I see why it is called hot lips. It has a nice shade of red that I’d like for my lipstick too.
