Echinacea purpurea which I grew from seed.
This plant is just so photogenic, and I love it.

They are beautiful.
Everyone is knee deep in Echinaceas except me. I’m baffled as to why I keep losing them…next year will be another story I’m sure 🙂

For me,this is the year of the coneflower. I can’t get enough of them.

I have just used this flower to create an art quilt. I took mine while on a visit to Durham University botanical gardens.
