We have had such a poor July and August,
That we have not had three consecutive dry days
Which made to-day even more special
As it was warm and sunny
And the garden was full of bees and butterflies.

Yesterday I went to Bangor, and could hardly see the road through the rain and wind. What a wonderful contrast.

Gail, why am I not surprised that you noticed my yellow sunflower!
I was trying to grow the dark brown ones – not sure what happened.
