With the wet weather we have been having recently – these flowers, waiting to go onto the compost heap
Have truly reached “the end of the line”
So this is my submission for the Picture This Photo Contest for November over at Gardening Gone Wild.
This entry was posted on November 16, 2009 by artistsgarden. It was filed under The turning year and was tagged with photography, picture this photo.
I know, where did the year go?
When this photo came up, I was taken with the colors and patterns of the compost pile. Reminds me of William Morris fabric.

Gee, I could have taken a picture of my compost pile too, but didn’t think of it! What a great entry, definitely the end of the line. And yet, and yet, as compost they will live again.
