More Rain to Come

We have had a week of high winds and heavy rain.

While we have not been affected as much as other parts of the country

The river running through Dolgellau flooded

And my garden is a quagmire.

More rain is forecasted.

(And please don’t ask about my roof)

  1. Just for a moment I thought it was a picture of your garden but I see I was wrong. I’m tempted to ask…but I’ll restrain myself…hard though it is 🙂

    • Hi Easygardener –

Well done for being so full of restraint 🙂

I think the builders are to scared to come and see how much rain the roof let in 😦

      Thanks for visiting

  2. Have been wondering how you were faring Karen. Hope that we have seen the brunt of it, although the forecast for tomorrow does not look good especially for those poor folk in Cumbria 😦

    • Hi Anna –

No the forecast does not look great – the high winds we have had have been rather grim.

But I bought curtain material to-day, so fingers crossed I can get on with that 🙂

      Thanks for visiting

  4. Karen:
The papers here in Canada are calling it an ‘El Nino’ winter- whatever that is supposed to mean?!? I have been thinking of my garden friends in England – keep your chin up – surely the calamity will end soon. You are in my thoughts!
