Good Walking Weather

We have had wonderful weather for walking –

Cold but bright.

So we have been up and down the prom a few times over the last few days.

And every day this little group of Oystercatchers is huddled on the tide line.

(I think they are Oystercatchers aren’t they?)

Do I mention the hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream at the end of the prom? The birds looked as chilly as I felt! Good walk though. Saturday was lovely. Got out in my garden for a few hours moving that pile of slate again. No doubt it will move again:-)

    • Went again to-day – (But not for hot chocolate and marshmallows) and the birds were still there – going again tomorrow!

  2. Wonderful photo!! What a lovely place to walk… Love the birds! I should walk there every day too… along your promenade. Is it far from your house? Carol

  3. They’re very cute little birds, don’t think we have those here in the US. How are you, Karen? It’s been ages since I’ve said hello…Enjoy your ‘walking weather’…we’re in the midst of one snow storm after another!

  5. Lovely photo and they are Oyster Catchers – reminds me of my sightings of them up on the shores of the Isle of Skye! Very reminiscent!
