Costa del … Wales!

Dicentra spectabilis (Bleeding Heart)

We had the most amazingly wonderful day here,

Which was such a surprise after yesterdays howling cold winds.

I sat outside with my coffee.

No jumpers or coat

And the plants seemed to push out of the ground before my eyes.

We had an hour or two today unfortunately I was stuck in the office – typical!

  2. I love seeing the tiny shoots of plants pushing through. It sounds as if you had a perfectly-delightful day.

As it was still light (if you squinted your eyes) when I got in from work, I took my coffee and went and sat in the garden for a while. The sun had gone, but it was bliss! When are you comming round to help me plan the new layout?

    • I didn’t know you wanted me to plan a new layout – I think you are doing a great job

I am so jealous, It will be another 6 weeks before I see something like this, no maybe two months.

    • I know it probably doesn’t help – but your snow and winters are very picturesque Sandy!

Sounds wonderful. I’d be very tired of winter, except for the child-like delight that washes over me every time we have big fluffy white flakes fall from the sky.

    • We haven’t had that much snow here – but I do admit to being a bit fed up with winter – ours has been much colder than usual. I think it is nice to still feel childlike delight at big fluffy flakes
      🙂
