A visual journal

First ….

First lunch of the year outside on the lawn,

Well, when I say lawn I mean the patch of green that passes for a lawn.

Also, first daisies in that patch of green that passes for a lawn

  1. The daisies, and the patch of green that passes for a lawn look blissful to me, too! My lawn is still buried in snow…

  2. What – really?

Yesterday was the first time I noticed crocuses. The grass outside the house – one patch is turned to mush, the other seems to have died completely under the onslaught of so much rain. Daisies! Green blades!

The wind this morning gave me an instant headache, it was (is) so cold and fierce.

    Lunch outside.

    Oh, jealousy!

Daisys already?? Wow, they’ve never been a flower I expect to see at this time… I’ll check my own!

Lovely photo and wonderful to hear you’ve managed to eat outside, I did exactly the same yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed the sun on my back.

My lawn is a mess. Have spent too much time marching up and down it in the winter. Never mind, there won’t be much of it left soon. I just have to imagine all my lush new massive borders and not look at the sad green bit in the middle!! I love the cheerful faces faces on the daisys.

Your weather must be more like the west coast of the US. One of my blogger buddies in Montana posted the first buttercups last week. When I lived in Oregon, the winters were very mild in Salem.

Here, I am just happy to see the ground without snow.
