Karen, those white petals are simply delicious! 🙂 I never used to care much for white blooms in the garden, but they’ve certainly grown on me. I think I could well have a white-only bed, if I had the space.

She looks like someone has very carefully used an iron to put a perfect double pleat (sure there is a proper word for that) down the middle of each petal.

You can image some mother leaning over the iron and saying thats not quite good enough again! again! and dont stop until you get it perfect.
