A visual journal

Clear March Skies

The weather here continues to be amazing.

With glorious days, lots of sunshine (no coats needed).

And clear, clear sky – meaning the night-time temperatures drop to about -7c

The plants are confused – but I’m happy

Imbolc – midway between the winter solstice and the spring equinox.

Living here in this timeless landscape

I walk the ancient drovers road and feel close to the changing seasons and

The Turning Year.

The Sun Shone To-day …

…  I went into Harlech to buy curtain fabric,

And Shedman dug up the onions.

This is a view through Harlech Castle – out over the golf course to the sea and the Lleyn Peninsular

Yesterday I ….

Went up Snowdon, with Shedman and my friend who came to visit us.

We didn’t walk – but went up on the train.

Unfortunately by the time we got to the top – the clouds had descended

And this was the view.

Nevertheless – it was still a grand day out.

Here’s looking at you!

After watching “Springwatch

I decided I must look at gulls

Through new eyes.

Wind Turbine

I do hope you all had a Happy Easter Break.

Ours was fabulous, as the weather was so good

And we got loads done in the garden.

To-day I was out and about visiting

I know that I have posted a picture of wind turbines before

I do find them quite awesome

Especially when they seem to pop up over a mountain

And look at you, as you drive past.

Lost Lamb

This little lamb was wondering around a very big field all on his own

Calling for his Mum.

Who was in the next field with the rest of the flock

Porthmadog Harbour

Meeting up with a friend in Porthmadog – I did remember my camera to-day!

Fog to-day.
