Candlemas Eve
Tomorrow is Candlemas Day, also known as Imbolc, Oimelc or St. Brigid’s Day.
It is cross quarter day. Half way between the shortest day;- the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox.
Imbolc is a festival of light, which celebrates the growing power of the sun, and the awakening of the land.
