Nest builders

dove

“Come live with me and be my love …..”

We have a pair of ring-collared doves who live in the garden and I enjoy watching their antics.

This picture, however is calling out for speech bubbles –  feel free to leave your own thoughts on what they are saying

(as long as they are not too rude).

Aren’t they beautiful, I always think Collared Doves have a kind of serenity.

    Caption:

She says ‘ Where did you manage to find such a huge twig – don’t you know there is a recession on?’

He replies haughtily ‘I am related to the Branch Manager!’

    Well, at least I tried!

LOL at Zoe’s speech bubble attempt! My mind is a complete blank, but I love the photo.

Look , I know the chimneys are out of commision for nest building now, bit if we wait any longer, the jackdaws will have taken all the prime spots. The property slump won’t go on for ever.

What a fun post! I’m thinking they are asking each other who that strange looking person is with the camera, and deciding what their next move will be if they are approached.

I love the pics on this blog. I found it through blotanical. You live in a gorgeous area!

  8. “Typical, the first nice day we get for ages and you want me to do some DIY.”
Best I could come up with. I’m still laughing at #1 son’s submission.

Pretty birds – and probably as dim as the two who visit my garden!
